Washington Commons is a beautifully renovated building that is modern, clean and bright. The grounds rest on a serene, suburban street in Bridgeville, PA. The building includes spacious dining, recreation, visitor areas and a large outdoor courtyard. All rooms are fully furnished. We encourage residents to add to their comfort by bringing personal furnishings or other items from home.

Safety
Beyond our focus on comfort, we maintain a commitment to safety. Our building is a well-built structure protected by an alarm system. Contributing to safety is a full sprinkled fire protection system and all resident rooms are equipped with a call system.

The monthly fee covers not only the resident's furnished room, but also a broad range of other services.

Activities
We believe that an active mind and body are essential to good health. We encourage residents to participate in our broad range
of programs, which include crafts, games and parties. Our staff also arranges field trips to malls, restaurants and special events. The following types of in-house activities are available:

Intellectual such as bingo, storytelling and word games.
Physical such as active games, dancercise and therapeutic exercise.
Sensory such as crafts, music appreciation and pet therapy.
Spiritual such as Bible study, hymns and religious services.

Medications
Medications are dispensed under the strict supervision of our Director of Wellness, who is responsible for ensuring that each resident
takes the proper dosage at the appropriate time. All medications are stored individually in a locked, secure location.
